Description
My art celebrates the landscape and the stories held within it. In this work I focus on the concept of interconnection and the physical terrain. The journey of our ancestors and the gathering of our people form part of one continues living story. Using traditional painting techniques and a warm Country inspired palette, I aim to capture the vibrant energy that radiates from sacred sites.
The circular motifs act as anchors within the composition,representing the heart of the community,while the flowing tracks symbolise the paths,we travel to maintain our connection, to one another and to the earth. For me this painting is a visual meditation on culture resilience and the enduring beauty of the natural world.
